August 21st Development Updates


Here’s what I worked on today:

  • Mobs now aggress only if player is visible.
  • As you descend the mine, floors will become smaller on average.
  • Rooms correctly calculate their inner area. This fixes the missing wall for rooms on the bottom of the play area.

We’re looking good for another Alpha release on Friday! Something that’s been eluding me is the food spawning inside dungeon walls. I thought the inner area fix for the rooms would solve this, but I’m still running into it during testing. With luck I’ll be able to solve it this patch cycle!
